Mehdi Hasan is an award-winning British-American journalist, based in Washington D.C. He is the host of ‘The Mehdi Hasan Show’ on MSNBC and NBC’s streaming channel Peacock.

Mehdi is a former columnist and podcaster at The Intercept and a former presenter of ‘UpFront’ and ‘Head to Head’ at Al Jazeera English. He is the author of two previous books and his op-eds have also appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Guardian.

Mehdi has been debating since he was a teenager at Oxford University – in 2013, his award-winning speech at an Oxford Union debate on Islam and peace went viral, amassing more than 10 million views online.
